Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool requests six data points: gender, date of birth, your health summary, tobacco use, benefit amount and term length. These six pieces are all that's needed to get rates. Personal details like name, street address and health background are only asked for if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the rates a carrier quotes for your selected health rating. The actual premium depends on what the carrier learns during underwriting, which can confirm, improve or change your class. This site provides estimates for information; it is neither an insurance offer nor a price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name and the application is launched from your chosen quote and proceeds on a secure carrier platform. The process can be paused and resumed at will, with final signing done online. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) processes all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies by carrier, coverage level and what you disclose. Many now provide expedited decisions for eligible applicants without requiring an exam; your quotes will tell you whether the carrier you're considering requires, possibly requires, or doesn't require a medical examination.
Is a longer term better?
A term covers the span when losing your income would threaten your family or business: active mortgage, minor children at home, company debt. Longer terms cost more each month but lock that rate in for longer. The tool lets you compare monthly costs across 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote engine doesn't capture contact information, we don't trade or distribute personal data, and our analytics uses no cookies. Check the privacy page for the complete inventory of what gets collected and who touches it.
